Middle-Earth in Downtown Chillicothe is STILL ON and happening as planned on Saturday, June 20th! 🎉

The only change is that the Middle-Earth Art Show portion of the event has been canceled. We apologize for any misunderstanding that may have been caused by our previous post.

The rest of the day will still be filled with all the fun, adventure, costumes, themed activities, contests, shopping, dining, and magical experiences that make Middle-Earth in Downtown Chillicothe such a special event. From hobbits and elves to dwarves and wizards, there will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate the world of Tolkien with fellow fans and our amazing downtown businesses.

📣 Art Show Update

We are disappointed to announce that the Tolkien & Middle-earth Inspired Art Show planned as part of Middle-earth in Downtown Chillicothe has been canceled due to circumstances outside of our control. Unfortunately, the venue we had planned to use is no longer available, and we did not receive enough artist registrations to make the show viable this year.

We want to sincerely thank the local artists who registered and expressed interest in participating. We were excited about the opportunity to showcase your creativity and celebrate the artistic inspiration that Tolkien's works continue to provide.

While we're unable to offer the Art Show this year, we hope this is a feature we can bring back for future Downtown events. The enthusiasm and support we've received have shown us there is interest in making it happen.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you'll still join us for Middle-earth in Downtown Chillicothe on June 20th for a day of fellowship, fun, and adventure throughout Downtown!
