Ranch Run at the U Ranch Run at the U offers a Farm 5K and Ranch 10K. Walk or Run through some of the prettiest old Florida scenery there is at Usher Farm in Chiefland, FL!

Join Suwannee Valley Rotary’s 5th Annual Ranch Run at the U on 9/26/26 - a unique 5K/10K at beautiful Usher Farm in Levy County, featuring scenic ranchland, pines, ponds, and a sunrise run! Lots of fun (optional) obstacles to challenge you based on your comfort level. This event is hosted by Suwannee Valley Rotary Club in Chiefland and the proceeds benefit local youth and community causes.

What a huge turnout for our 4th annual Ranch Run- even it was a little wet and rainy!! It made it feel more like a mud run instead of a ranch run but not very many sweated! 🤣

From exceeding our sponsorship goal to the overwhelming support from participants and volunteers, we are truly blessed to continue to host events such as this. We would not be able to pull an event like this off without the help from our Rotarians and volunteers.

Special thanks to:
🌲the Suwannee Valley Rotary Club for showing up, putting in the long hours, donating selflessly of your time and energy
🌲 Volunteers from Chiefland FFA, Bronson FFA, Chiefland Golf Team, Chiefland Girls Weightlifting team as well as their parents, sponsors, coaches & advisors that had them at the farm at 6am!!
🌲Jones Luxury Restrooms for our restroom needs! Appreciate your willingness to help us out.
🌲 Florida Forest Service and Smokey Bear for their presence and added water from the tanker trucks along the course!
🌲 Ralph’s Food truck for feeding every volunteer before the start time and being on site to provide any food requests! The breakfast sandwiches are always a hit and are much appreciated!
🌲 JK Waffle Brew Cafe truck for providing our jump start for the day! The coffee was on point and the waffles were an added bonus!
🌲 Florida Peanut Federation, Levy County Farm Bureau, & On the Mend IV Hydration for providing treats, giveaways, and information about wonderful resources to help people live their best and healthier lives!

Last but not least, Usher Farm and the Griner family for hosting. Your passion for agriculture while protecting & preserving our natural resources is evident through the farm. We are grateful for the opportunity to hold the event there and also to have you both as members of SVRC.
