Asian American Coalition of Chicago Our main event is the annual Asian American Coalition of Chicago Lunar New Year Celebration, now in its 43rd Year! Hosted by the Chinese American community.

The Lunar New Year Gala will be on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Marriott Marquis Chicago. The Asian American Coalition of Chicago has been represented over the years by 16 cultures including the Bangladeshi, Burmese, Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Malaysian, Nepalese, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Thai and Vietnamese communities. Our main event is the a
