season 8 is in the books 📚

were so grateful to our amazing friends for taking part, and everyone from the entire Guarneri Hall team to each of the audience members who helped bring this year’s festival to life ✨

we had 2 commissions this year (one by Eleanor Alberga and one by Paul Wiancko), both people we’ve dreamed of working with for years and to see these projects come to fruition feels special.

A huge thank you to Chamber Music America and the NEXUS New Music fund for making each of these commissions possible.

in addition we had

2 sold out Guarneri Hall concerts
2 sold out open rehearsals

and a bigger turnout for our concert at Winnetka Congregational Church than we had last year.
It’s still a new venue for us but a place we love hope to grow into.

all in all, we can’t help but feel grateful to everyone who came out this past week and those who cheered from their screens.

it’s crazy to see this little plant grow from what it was to what it is 🌱
