It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year and we at The Fresh Connect have been working hard to prepare for this year’s celebration. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop. To celebrate this milestone in Hip-Hop, we are looking for local artists and musicians to feature at this year’s Fresh Connect. If you or your friends are interested, we will be hosting an audition for talent. Just scan the code and register before October 15th!

We are very excited to announce that Picture Perfect will be at The Fresh Connect on Dec 10th! Picture Perfect is a fashion organization that produces beautiful and unique fashion events within media, modeling, runways, etc at Columbia!

We are having this event as a hybrid event! The in person event will be for Columbia College Chicago students only that can register with the link on the bio once we have that link. We will then be posting a link very soon for Twitch to join if you are a non-Columbia student!

Enjoy this video the Hip-Hop Studies and the Doc Unit created, this features one of our amazing artists showcasing tonight, T-STAR VERSE🔥 Just as a little overview, TFC started out as a launch event for the Hip Hop Studies here right at Columbia College Chicago back in 2017! Definition: It’s a Process – A Doc Unit film: combines class credit with the professional experience of creating short documentary works on behalf of real clients, and has been a strong collaborator in the growth and continuation of Hip-Hop Studies at Columbia College Chicago. We were excited to bring them into this Hip-Hop Ensemble collaboration this semester. A special thanks to Rita Dennin (and team) and Jeff Spitz. Enjoy! 🤩🤩
