Hello Facebook Followers! Lots of changes in 2017 for Venue One. As many of you know, Venue One Chicago moved from our Randolph Street location in June of 2017 to a beautiful loft space further west in the trendy West Fulton Market neighborhood. We are now One block east of Ashland and one block north of Lake Street. In October of this year our venue was acquired by J&L Catering, a prominent off premise caterer with over 30 years of history in the Chicago and suburban market. We have re-branded under the new name of Venue West with a location address of 221 N. Paulina. Our services are still the same providing our clients a true one stop shop for all of your event needs. It has been a great 6 years on Randolph Street for Venue One, but it is now time to move on to bigger and better things, in this case BIGGER AND BETTER PLACES. It is official, we are moving Venue One! The new Venue One location is 60,000 square feet with two event spaces. The current Event Creative warehouse will be transformed into a new 30,000 square foot “column free” venue with a capacity of over 1000 for a sit-down dinner and a separate multi-level cocktail area. The second adjoining event space is Venue One Loft, an amazing timber and brick building with the capacity for over 400 people seated with a removable wall to open the full 12,000 square foot space. Also, we are building a brand new 10,000 square foot kitchen and both locations will come with a full inventory of bars, lounge furniture and built in design elements of the Event Creative arsenal. Venue One Loft with have all the built in lighting and AV features of our existing location but the BIG Venue One will only have a basic lighting and sound package for those on a budget. You are welcome to bring your own Lighting/AV company or decor company to enhance our venues. Venue One Loft is completed and on June 15th we will be transferring the Randolph Street location’s inventory over and the new BIGGER Venue One will be completed this fall. We are excited about this new location, so stay tuned, follow our amazing transformation on Facebook and keep up with all the amazing productions Event Creative will keep doing while this build out takes place.
