Thank you to EVERYONE who contributed to the riot...your genorisity, presence and dollar support far exceeded expectations & served to show how strong our community conitinues to be.
I counted around 100 people spectating/skating at the first spot...and I'm sure the number was higher at the third & final spot. Our goal is to make great rollerblading accessible to a wider audience & we accomplished that goal. Next year We hope to bring 5k for the winner & fully legalize the competition.

SPOT 1
1pm-4pm
Big Marsh Park (approx 103rd & cottage grove) --- perfect street spot featuring kink rails short down rails banks and storage container grinds.
Grilling chilling and music for the duration, huge parking lot & porta pottys.
Sign up until 3 pm. Contest starting at 2. 30$ entry or $100 team entry (5 participants)

4:30-5:30
Sarah E. Goode Stem Academy (approx 77th street and South Kedzie)
Down rails gaps and roll-ins
Medium bust factor. S**t gonna get heated
Good parking but dont park in front of the rails

FINAL SPOT

Roberto Clemente High
Western and Division (/Western and Oakley more accurately) -good parking
Rail drop down to ledge and
ramp to high ledge.

Judging will be via a diverse panel & based on all performance through the duration of the contest.

Winners announced & prizes awarded almost immediately following competition wrap.

The violin/trumpet duo Caitlin Franklin will make you question your reality with a short noise set.

DJ Kaspar will kill a set to get you dancing

7-10$ suggested donation as movie ticket fee & to support the competition...cheap beers on deck free of charge.

Party ends at 1 so the skaters can get some sleep.
