Announces 33rd African/Caribbean International Festival of Life in Chicago
“Bringing Nations Together Through Music & Culture”
Chicago, IL — Dr. Ephraim Martin, President of Martin’s International, proudly announces the official 2026 dates for the 33rd African/Caribbean International Festival of Life (IFOL), taking place July 3rd–5th, 2026 during the 250th Anniversary of Independence, 4th of July weekend at Union Park in Chicago.
For over three decades, the Festival of Life has stood as one of the nation’s premier cultural celebrations, uniting thousands through the vibrant expressions of African and Caribbean music, food, art, and heritage. The 2026 theme, “Bringing Nations Together Through Music & Culture,” reflects the festival’s continued mission to bridge communities, cultures, and generations.
This year’s festival will also serve as a heartfelt tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin’s beloved late wife and partner, Shelvin Louise Marie Hall, whose contributions helped shape the vision and global impact of the festival. Plus several family members and cultural artist we’ve lost over the past few months. For limited time get early promo tickets @ festoflife.org.
