We are gladly announcing the launch of the B2B trade show h+h americas taking place each June in the Chicagoland area. The fair is open to anyone who makes a living in fiber arts and crafts business, no matter what background or industry sector. h+h americas is the industry event uniting all types of handicrafts. This fall, h+h americas commemorates 25 years since September 11 through the powerful work of award-winning quilter Carol Mesimer.
Mesimer’s piece, Remember Me, will be on display at h+h americas Fall Edition in Houston, Texas.

It features 3,023 hand-lettered fabric strips, each bearing the name of a life lost. Some portions of this work have not previously been displayed to the public. As a community of makers, we know that our craft can carry meaning far beyond the materials in our hands. It can help us remember, honor, process, and connect across generations.
