Did you know: this year, Chicago hosts , a global celebration of the iconic music genre? This week, the festivities head to Millennium Park with free, pop-up performances from local jazz acts throughout the day Thursday, April 30! 🎷

In collaboration with our long-standing partner, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, DCASE was honored to provide financial support to bring this concert to Millennium Park. Tonight, celebrate the 20th anniversary of "Pride and Prejudice" with a free screening at Jay Pritzker Pavilion, as part of the Millennium Park Summer Film Series.

The final film for this summer's lineup will be "Wicked", which is rescheduled for Monday, August 25. Films start at 6:30 p.m.

Thank you South Side Weekly for coming out to yesterday's concert with Digable Planets! We had a great time jammin' to the legendary hip-hop trio's hits. 🎤

Millennium Park Music Series concerts continue this Monday, July 21, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. with performances by Joe Bataan and the Barrio Boys and Novos Baianos.

The group only released two studio albums in the 1990s, but had a profound impact on hip-hop.

As the home of Gospel music, the genre has a strong legacy in Chicago. returns to Millennium Park on Saturday, July 12, to honor the traditions and celebrate the modern interpretations. 🙌🏽
