Do you know someone you running the 2025 Chicago Marathon?
Come join me as we welcome 52,000 runners from around the globe run this world class marathon. I am the Aid Station 01 captain for the Chicago Marathon. We are located at about mile 1.6 (at State St. in front of Macy's) and are looking to recruit volunteers to pass out water and Gatorade to the runners. This is arguably the best location on the course because you can volunteer, get your free Nike hat and jacket, then after your shift (volunteers are done before 10am), you can go a few blocks West and catch your runners at the half, then proceed south to catch them at various other miles on the course.

c. Volunteers are discouraged from bringing bags or other personal belongings to the event.

Do you know someone running the 2024 Chicago Marathon? Come join us as we welcome 49,000 runners from around the globe who come to run this world class marathon. The Alpine Runners will one again be supporting Aid Station 1 at the Chicago Marathon. We are located at about mile 1.6 (at State St. in front of Macy's) and are looking to recruit volunteers to pass out water and Gatorade to the runners. Hi everyone! If you are not going to run the Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 8, 2023, consider volunteering at the 1st Aid Station under the Alpine Runners. You get an upfront view of how fast these amazing wheelchair and elite runners zip by you! Once the Aid Station is cleaned up, you will have plenty of time to follow your running friends in the course! You will get some cool swag as well!
