Tourte bow exhibition! 🎻 2 more days to check out this incredibly well preserved Francois Tourte bow, so much so that the original tool marks can still be seen in the head of the bow! We are pleased to have lent the bow for this historical exhibition.

Open through March 6, the exhibition showcases nearly 40 extraordinary bows by Francois Xavier Tourte.

We are so proud to share that this magnificent Francois Tourte Cello bow, one of the greatest ones in existence, was sold through us at Bein & Company.

It is a spectacular late example that is in such fresh state of preservation that the original tool marks from the maker are still visible in the head of the bow!

This bow was featured as example no. 91 on page 199 of the recently published "TOURTE" by Paul Childs, Gabriel Schaff, Lucy Sante, & Isaac Salchow.

Mystery violin revealed! The 1728 "Thunis" Stradivari.

The violin came into our possession and a buyer was found in just under two weeks! Even more spectacular is that this violin will be placed into the hands of today’s most exciting and talented young soloists and will be heard in concert halls all over the world for many years to come.
