The Hot Clown Company presents: PSYCHO! now with royalty free music! WOwWy ZoWwY

WHAT IS CLOWN FILM?!

Clown is a hard genre to define for many reasons. What makes a clown? Is it the red nose? Is it physical comedy? Is it a joyous relationship to failure? Is it some combination of the three that doesn't necessarily need to include all of them?

From the classics of Chaplin and Buster Keaton, to the shenanigans of Borat, and the horrors of The Terrifier, clowns have been in film since humans invented the camera, and we want to see more of it!!

Hot Clown Company is producing the inaugural Hot Clown Film Festival right here in Chicago, and we want YOU to be apart of it! Submit your clown shorts to us by March 15th, 2024 for a chance to have them screened in front of an audience during our festival in August.
