Artopia Experience Phoenix Artist Spotlight 🏜
Tarek Soliman got his start in the creative field 10 years ago after moving to the U.S. from Egypt with a degree in architecture engineering. His form of creation starts with a concept of an architecture structure that is then altered to be wearable, buildable, scalable, and achievable. Tarek has expanded his talents in costume design, production, designing, and fabrication and draws much inspiration from music. Of this, he says, “Layers of dynamics, form, harmony, melody, timber, beats, rhythms, and texture speak a language with my design process. I visualize and see music as a movement of lines intersecting, creating paths and outlines of a conceptual start to begin the process of seeding the idea.”
