‼️MUST READ‼️
It’s with a heavy heart that I share this update, which I’ve been dreading. I will be closing my doors at 110 E. 17th St. due to the building owner’s decision to sell the property.
Over the past five years, I’ve experienced so much joy and connection here. From celebrating birthdays and anniversaries to hosting baptisms, quinceañeras, and community events like Easter Egg Hunts and Trick or Treat nights, The Louise Event Venue has been a hub of support and camaraderie. We’ve jammed out to local music, enjoyed Wine Down Wednesdays, and created lasting memories together.
While I’ve faced challenges—losing my 2 brothers, losing my 2 cousins, navigating political differences, and experiencing slower months—I take pride in being the first privately owned event venue in this area. That’s an achievement I will always cherish.
REMEMBER
This isn’t a farewell; it’s a “see you later.” I’ll be continuing my work at 1620 Snyder Ave. until I find a new space. I’m grateful for the connections I’ve made with local businesses and community leaders. My mom always said, “It’s not just what you know, but who you know.” I want to thank Dave Teubner Renee Jelinek and Steve P Sears for their generosity in allowing me to transfer some of my events to their venues. A special shoutout to Wendy Volk who has been tirelessly searching for a new home for The Louise.
This weekend, I’ll be hosting a sale—moving certainly reveals just how much stuff you accumulate, doesn’t it?
🏷️Saturday 12-4pm
🏷️Sunday 2-4pm
As you all know over the 5 years I have accumulated one of a kind furniture, Nick nacks and more. So you might want to come and sn**ch them up Saturday hahaha!! Also I’d love to see all your faces, so come on by to say farewell for now:)
The tears have been flowing for days, numerous sleepless nights, headaches for days, blood pressure at the all time highest, the feeling of failure has been on the brain.
With all this going on, momma always knows best.
She said “This was your baby, your 1st to do it, it’s not like you can’t do it again, you already done it”

I promise to keep you all informed about the future of The Louise.
Thank you for your unwavering support. I’m excited to see all of you at our new location soon!
