- This last Sunday, Capt. Garrett “Ghost” Kasper — a former member of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, retired Navy officer, and one of the 1,000+ incredible volunteers helping bring the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo® to life was on the program.

Ghost shared what it takes to fly with the Blue Angels, the discipline and teamwork behind every performance, and why this air show means so much to the community. After 30 years of service protecting our freedoms, he continues to serve by helping create an unforgettable experience for families across the region.

A beautiful moment this past weekend from our friends at the Commemorative Air Force Missouri Wing! A fantastic reminder for why the holiday exists as we thank all of those who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms. 🇺🇸

He’s 101 and still flying high this Memorial Day weekend. World War II veteran Oscar Masters took part in a special honor flight on Saturday at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport.

This weekend, we remember those who have given their acts of service, courage and ultimate sacrifice to ensure our nation has remained free for 250 years. 🇺🇸

Our mission includes a core value of recognizing and honoring those in our armed services.

All active duty military and their dependents are FREE with valid ID and we continue to donate numerous tickets to local veteran organizations across the St. Louis and St. Charles county areas for distribution at their *sole* discretion.

Join us as we honor or heroes June 6-7, while inspiring the next generation to innovate to ensure our next 250 years remain bright.

Yesterday, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds announced the 2026 season will be their LAST in the iconic Canadair CT-114 Tutor, ending 55 years in this iconic jet aircraft.

This also means this will be the LAST time the Midwest and will ever see this amazing demonstration, and we remain honored the team choose for this special season.

After their season ends in October, the team will take a 4-5 year break as they transition to the new Pilatus PC-21 turboprop, anticipated to arrive in the early 2030s.
