BRUCE KATZ — A LEGEND IN HIS OWN RIGHT!

On Friday at 7:00 PM, Meadow Blues will be graced by one of the most respected keyboard players in blues, roots, and American music — Bruce Katz.

A legendary Hammond B3 and piano player, Bruce has released 12 albums as a leader and has appeared on more than 75 recordings with some of the biggest names in music, including John Hammond, Delbert McClinton, Ronnie Earl, Little Milton, Butch Trucks, Duke Robillard, David “Fathead” Newman and many more.

And his connection to the Allman Brothers family runs deep. Bruce was a member of Gregg Allman’s band for six years, performed with Jamoe’s Jasssz Band, Butch Trucks’ Freight Train Band and Les Brers, and occasionally toured with the Allman Brothers.

Accompanying Bruce Katz will be Aaron Lieberman, John Medeiros Jr., and Legare Robertson — bringing together an incredible lineup of musicians for what promises to be one unforgettable night at Meadow Blues.

Come hear that Hammond B3 sing, feel the groove, and let the music take you somewhere only great musicians can.

Well, LORD HAVE MERCY… what a night!

Jackson Kincheloe, Bram, Kevin & Joe — THANK YOU for bringing the house down! The music was kickin’, the energy stayed sky-high, and the Meadow Blues Community was feeling every note.

And then… Arleigh Kincheloe from Sister Sparrow stopped by and decided to take us ALL to church. 🙌🏽

She stepped up and sang “Give Me One Reason” and, y’all… we were already high from Jackson and the band — then Arleigh took the stage and sent us straight to the heavens.

It was like taking a hit from a joint… minus the joint! Her voice, her soul, her energy — LORD! She took us higher!

Jackson, Arleigh, Bram, Kevin & Joe — y’all left a little Southern revival dust on Meadow Blues last night.

Come back anytime. The door is always open. ❤️

From the Catskill Mountains to stages around the country, Jackson Kincheloe brings serious roots, blues, harmonica, lap steel, and guitar chops to Meadow Blues!

A founding member of Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds, Jackson has shared the stage with legends including Levon Helm, Gov’t Mule, Jerry Douglas, Amy Helm, Old Crow Medicine Show, JJ Grey & Mofro and many more.

Now he’s bringing his own sound and his debut solo album, Surviving the Dream, to Meadow Blues.
