Congratulations to Kim Price for this well deserved honor!

🌿 Celebrating our 2026 Environmental Champions

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing this year’s Environmental Champions Award recipients - people and organizations whose work is making a meaningful difference for the environment in the Lower Connecticut River Valley.

We’re starting with Kim Price, this year’s recipient of a Certificate of Environmental Achievement.

A longtime Chester Fair volunteer, Kim turned a simple question, “What can you do about the trash?” into a groundbreaking Zero Waste Program for the fair. Since launching in 2022, the program has recovered more than 25,000lbs of material, achieving an average 65% waste-diversion rate and reaching 80% diversion in 2026.

We’re proud to recognize Kim for turning an idea into lasting action. He helped demonstrate what’s possible when a community comes together to reduce waste. ♻️

What a weekend! The Chester Fair 2026 has officially come to a close! We are so grateful to every attendee, volunteer, committee member, competitor, vendor, sponsor, judge, musician - all of you made it an unforgettable weekend!

We also want to share a special thank you for the incredible support of our Zero Waste Program. Because you took the time to sort your trash and follow our green flags, we kept the fairgrounds cleaner and greener than ever. We truly couldn't do it without you.

2027 marks the 150th Anniversary of the Chester Fair! And we have *BIG* plans. Join us on November 8th for a Cracker Barrel Style Presentation at the Chester Meeting House at 4pm to hear more - audience participation encouraged!

Sunday may be one of our favorite days at the fair - there are plenty more exciting events tomorrow! We hope you’ll join us!

Shiny Metal Hineys will be rocking on the main stage from 1-4pm and the Chester Drum Corp will perform starting at 4pm.

Be sure to check out our first ever Wood Chopping Competition, multiple events happening from 9-1pm.

Chester Fair 2026 kicks off TONIGHT at 6pm.

Fair Hours:
🐄 Friday August 28th 6:00pm - 11:00pm
🌽 Saturday August 29th 8:00am - 11:00pm (midway opens 10am)
🚜 Sunday August 30th 9:00am - 6:00pm

🎟️Tickets are $10 each.
Children 12 and under free.
Senior citizens and military (with ID) are $8.

Did you know we offer 3 day fair passes for $25?

And parking is always FREE!
