🌙 A Moon Fest Update 🌙
After giving it a lot of thought, we've made the difficult decision to cancel Moon Fest Fall Moonlight Market 2026, scheduled for October 17.
This wasn't an easy decision.
Moon Fest has always been a labor of love for us, and we've put a lot of time, energy, and heart into making each one happen. We want to be sure that when we hold Moon Fest, we can create an experience that is worthwhile for our guests and our vendors.
This year, the pieces just aren't coming together the way they need to, and we don't feel comfortable moving forward with the event under those circumstances.
So we're going to take a step back, regroup, and spend some time thinking about the future of Moon Fest.
This isn't goodbye. 🌙✨
We have lots of love for Moon Fest and for everyone who has helped make it what it is. We're just giving ourselves some time to figure out what comes next.
Thank you to everyone who applied to vend, planned to attend, shared our posts, offered to help, supported us, and believed in this little dream of ours.
We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

A little Moon Fest Check-In...
Moon Fest Fall Moonlight Market 2026 is currently scheduled for Saturday, October 17, and I’m at the point where I need to decide whether to move forward with it this year.

I’ve been working on bringing together the vendors, food, music and all the little details that make Moon Fest what it is. Right now, though, vendor participation is lower than I had hoped, and I’m still trying to secure a food truck.

Before I make a final decision, I’d really love to hear from YOU.

Update:

I've seen some comments recently about wanting Moon Fest to have more of a Renaissance Faire feel, so I want to clarify something about what Moon Fest is — and what it isn't.

Moon Fest is ran by one couple, with help from a handful of friends and family. We aren't a large festival organization with hundreds of vendors, a large staff, or a Renaissance Faire-sized budget. We simply can't create an event on that scale — and that's okay. ❤️

Our vision for Moon Fest has always been a family-friendly, fun and relaxing event where people can come together, discover creative vendors, enjoy some music and entertainment, and just chill for a while. 🌙

That said, I absolutely want Moon Fest to continue growing and improving. And most importantly, I want it to be successful for the vendors who invest their time and money to be there.

If I don't believe there will be enough attendance for our vendors to have a worthwhile day, then we won't hold the event.
