Welcome to the very first edition of the SHEK Newsletter! We’re excited to create another way to keep our members connected to everything happening at SHEK. From upcoming events and member celebrations to community outreach and important club updates, this newsletter will help you stay informed, involved, and connected. SHEK is more than a place to gather—it’s a social experience built around Safety, Humanity, Education and Kindness.

September is filled with opportunities to relax, reconnect and enjoy the SHEK experience. Whether you’re stopping in for Soul Food Sunday, football, Step & Sip, a watch party, or one of our special events, there’s always something happening.
Take a look at the September calendar and make plans to spend some time with your SHEK family. And remember—our atmosphere is intentionally designed for those who appreciate a mature, welcoming and non-chaotic place to socialize.
Don’t Just Come to SHEK — Get Involved
Community service is an important part of who we are. While you’re visiting the club this month, take a moment to ask us about SHEK’s community outreach initiatives and the different ways members can participate.
Whether it’s volunteering, supporting a local family, contributing to a community project or simply lending your time and talents, there will be opportunities for everyone to make a difference.

September Highlights
This month, be sure to look out for some of our signature SHEK experiences, including Step & Sip with Night Nurse, our weekly Soul Food Sundays, football watch nights, movie and television watch parties, and special social gatherings.
September also gives us another reason to celebrate the people who make SHEK special—our members. We’ll continue recognizing birthdays, welcoming new members and creating opportunities for everyone to get to know one another.

Sundays at SHEK are all about great food, good music and easy conversation. Our Soul Food Sunday Buffet is served every Sunday and features the comforting dishes you know and love in the relaxed SHEK atmosphere.
Come for dinner, catch the game, bring a friend—or stay awhile and enjoy the company.
Step & Sip Is Here!
It’s time to move! Step & Sip with Line Dancing Diva Night Nurse brings line dancing, music, food and cocktails together for a fun midweek experience.
Whether you already know the latest dances or need someone to teach you the steps, come ready to move, laugh and enjoy yourself.
Membership Has Its Benefits
