Let me begin by saying thank you to everyone who came out to Fall Fest Cherryvale last year and helped raise the funds to make some improvements to our little town of Cherryvale. The process of getting our project approved by the city is just that, a process, and we hope everyone loves the outcome of what we have chosen to do with the finances.
Secondly, I would like to say we are now a registered non-profit organization called Citizens Uniting Communities or The CUC. We will still be doing work under this organization to improve Cherryvale and our surrounding communities and the lives of the citizens in them. After all, this was the reason Fall Fest Cherryvale was started.
With all of that being said, It is with great sadness and regret that we are canceling Fall Fest Cherryvale due to the scheduling of other similar activities in our community. I want all the activities in our community to succeed and become a staple for future generations to have with their families. Therefore, I feel the best way for that to happen is to cancel Fall Fest Cherryvale. I apologize for any inconvenience and am sure no one will have issues finding a new venue this far in advance.
