Hey ’s community! 👋

We’re looking for people who want to contribute to our team swag bags for this year’s Flaming Foliage Race! We want to fill them with snacks, fuel, and other goodies that runners love!

We also are still looking for volunteers for the Flaming Foliage Relay! Duties include recording times, ensuring safety, and assisting with traffic. Volunteers can also enjoy live music, food, drinks, bouncy houses, face painting, and more!

Gear up, teams! The Flaming Foliage Relay is almost here, and having the right equipment is key to a smooth race. Here are a few must-haves:

🔦 Headlamps & Flashlights: Keep it lit from sunset to sunrise—your runner needs to see and be seen!

🦺 Reflective Vests: Safety first! Everyone in the Active Van must wear one when exiting the vehicle at night.

🚨 Flashing Red LED Lights: Attach one to the runner’s back to stay visible on those dark mountain roads.

🚑 First Aid Kit: Be ready for blisters, abrasions, and whatever the trail throws your way.

🚘 “Caution-Runner on Road” Sign: Make sure every team vehicle has one.

And don’t forget, if you’re tackling the trail legs, bright vests or clothing are a must, plus extra layers for those chilly mountain passes!

Ready to be a race day hero? The Flaming Foliage Relay is just around the corner, and we still need volunteers! 🙌

As a volunteer, you’ll be right in the action, helping out with everything from guiding runners to managing exchange zones along the scenic 200-mile route. Shifts are 4-6 hours, and you could be stationed anywhere along the course, so flexibility is key! Plus, you’ll get a cool t-shirt and the satisfaction of knowing you helped make this epic relay a success.
