Hoof It on the Hill Trail Race

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share some updates about the race.

Our race director Sarah got into the 2026 Cocodona 250 in Arizona, and the race week date conflicts with the usual Hoof It on the Hill weekend next year.

After much consideration and discussion, we have decided that even beyond 2026, we are going to step down as race directors for Hoof It on the Hill.

The CCETS, Inc. crew may possibly take the reins and host the race in the future, so watch their page for any updates/news.

It has been an absolute blast seeing all your accomplishments over the past four years. Thank you for making us proud! ♥️

Congrats to our own two-time winner, Josh Zubler, for taking another W at Many on the Genny yesterday! Reppin’ this year’s HIOTH tee at the finish!

Our RD Sarah and Boutwell Hill AS Captain Amanda also took on this tough 45 mile course yesterday, too!

Here are the maps for this year’s races. 🗺️
Higher quality PDFs (not FB photo quality! 😅) will be sent to all participants with the pre-race briefing email (a few days before the race). 📧
Some notes about the courses:
-Start/Finish is at 2099 Ruttenbur Rd, Cherry Creek NY 14723. This is also the location of the Ruttenbur Aid Station, which is available to all participants at the finish and to the 52k participants between their two loops.
-Arab Hill and Erwin are unmanned water stops ONLY. There is no crew access at these points. Plan accordingly. The 12k course will only have one water stop (Arab Hill) and the 6k course does not have any water stops.
-Crews are allowed at the Boutwell Hill and Ruttenbur Aid Stations (for 26k and 52k participants) only. Driving directions will be sent in the pre-race email. No crews allowed for other distances. 🏃‍♀️🏃

It’s looking good out there! We’ve been hard at work getting the trails cleared for you all. I can’t think of any other trail race that leaf blows their trails for their runners! 😉🍂🍃💨
The trails are in good shape overall, although maybe a little wetter in some sections than previous years. It’s been a long winter and wet spring up on the hill! Fingers crossed for lots of sunshine in the forecast. 🤞☀️
