The Cherokee County 4-H Expo Center is located on the Cherokee County Fairgrounds in Cherokee, Iowa. The facility includes an 80'x200' indoor riding arena and a 32'x60' meeting room/restroom annex (Bomgaars Conference Center). Memberships are available for purchase to utilize the indoor arena for open riding. The annual membership fee is $120 per individual or family (household) and is good throug

h December 31. The facility can also be rented for special events. Rental rates are as follows:
* Indoor Arena - Non-profit groups/organizations - $100 per day
* Indoor Arena & Conference Center - Non-profit groups/organizations - $150 per day plus $50 damage/cleaning deposit
* Indoor Arena & Conference Center - For-profit organizations/individuals - $250 per day plus $50 damage/cleaning deposit
* Conference Center Only - $50 per day plus $50 damage/cleaning deposit
(Primitive camping spaces and camping spaces with electrical hook-ups are available on the fairgrounds for a daily fee and must be reserved in advance.) The indoor arena and/or conference center is available to county 4-H clubs at no charge. Club leaders need to reserve in advance. The indoor and outdoor arenas are closed to members and the public starting Monday May 25 and ending June 1. The Rodeo Board has rented the fairgrounds and setting up for the rodeo. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

They do a lot behind the scenes to help support projects and organizations right here in Cherokee County. By connecting people who want to give back with causes that matter, they help make a real difference in our communities.

Their grants go toward projects that truly benefit local residents and help meet needs across the county.

We’re so grateful for the role they play in keeping our communities strong.

This will be the last spring session , Hope to see you there!

Monday March 9th 6-8pm.
We will be having a Roping Sled and Lead steer night. This will be slower paced roping practice. We will have a 4 wheeler, Hot heels, and Breakaway dummy for the sled practice. We then will have a few lead steers to end the night.
$20 per person
Barn Membership or $10 day fee required. Both available for purchase that day.
