☔️Rain didn’t stop our wonderful 2025 Royalty from being a part of the Rodeo Parade! ☔️
The young ladies were such good sports and shared many laughs during this so we’re grateful for the memory.. as well as the heated truck at the end!

The Fair Queen program offers scholarship, fun, memories and plenty of opportunities!

🌱 Watch Em Grow Wednesday 🌱

This week we’re featuring

✨Chloe ✨

Chloe Ebert is heading into her 7th year with Quimby Clovers and stays busy with static projects, poultry, rabbits, goats, and even some beef projects.

Her favorite fair tradition? A stop at the Pork Producers stand! Chloe loves 4-H because it gives her the chance to meet new people, and someday she hopes to work in the medical field.

The Ebert family has deep roots in 4-H, FFA, and the Cherokee County Fair. Parents Justin and Tiffany Ebert are both 4-H leaders, and Chloe’s older siblings continue to make the family proud. Caitlyn graduated from BVU and is now pursuing her doctorate in Horticulture at NDSU. Carly also graduated from BVU, and Jacob recently completed his sophomore year at ISU.

And fun fact, this family also started the Cherokee County Swap, which has grown by 200%!

This week, we’d like to thank Little Sioux Corn Processors for their generous support of the Cherokee County Fair and our cattle building re-siding project.

Located in the heart of Marcus, LSCP was founded in 2000 with a vision to support local agriculture and provide sustainable fuel for the nation. What began as a 40 million gallon facility has grown into a 170 million gallon per year operation while continuing to invest back into rural communities and agriculture.

Cherokee County Fair is incredibly thankful for your support and for investing in our future farmers!

Today, we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom.

Memorial Day is a day to reflect on the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes and the families who carry their memories forward.

From all of us at the Cherokee County Fair, we thank those who served and especially those who never made it home.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
