The 2026 Chehalis Music in the Park series will wrap up on Friday, July 31 at Recreation Park at 7pm.

We're going to finish with a flourish and some awesome Classic Rock!

The opener is “Can’t Get Enough” a Bad Company tribute band playing the best of Bad Company such as “Feel like Making Love”, “Shooting Star”, Bad Company” and of course “Can’t Get Enough”.

Then the headliner is “Whiskey River” the greatest Lynard Skynard tribute band. They will sing your favorites such as “Free Bird”, “Simple Man”, “Gimme Three Steps” and of course “Sweet Home Alabama”.

Don't miss this FREE show but be sure to bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. We're set up right next to Penny Playground. There will be concessions, merch and a chance to get autographs and pictures with the bands.

Show #2 of the 2026 Chehalis Music in the Park series is Country night with a SPECIAL guest coming home after decades in Nashville, Jimmy Ritchey! Ritchey is a Centralia High School graduate and alumnus of Centralia College.

In 1995, Ritchey relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, quickly establishing himself as a trusted creative presence among artists, writers, and record labels. Over the past 30 years as a Nashville resident, he has built a career defined by strong artist relationships, musical instincts, and a focus on authentic country sound.

A highly regarded multi-instrumentalist, Ritchey has contributed to recordings both behind the console and in the studio, earning extensive album credits as a musician, producer, and creative contributor across a wide range of projects.

As a producer, Ritchey’s credits include Vince Gill, LeAnn Womack, Clay Walker, Ted Nugent, Randy Travis, Jake Owen, Mark Chesnutt, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, Tracy Byrd, and Tracy Lawrence, among others.

Jimmy is bringing some help with the Marlow Brothers from Alabama. The Marlow Brothers are starting to create a stir in country music.

Jackson and Grayson Marlow are carrying on a proud multigenerational music tradition rooted deep in the rich soil of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Now making waves in Nashville, the Marlow Brothers are turning heads with their authentic sound, razor-sharp harmonies, and undeniable stage presence. They’ve been co-writing with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters while currently in the studio with veteran Nashville record producer **Jimmy Ritchey** on their debut project.

Show #2 will be Friday night, July 24 at Recreation Park in Chehalis. It's FREE to attend, just bring your own chair. Show starts at 7pm.

Tomorrow, Tuesday we announce Show #2 at this year's Chehalis Music in the Park series. The n on Thursday, we will announce our 3rd and final show of the series.

All shows begin at 7pm and shows will conclude around 9:30p with a short intermission about 7:45.

The event takes place at Recreation Park right next to Penny Playground and the opposite end of the outdoor swimming pool complex in Chehalis.

It’s 100% FREE to attend you just have to bring your own chair or blanket or sit on the grass as you please.

There will be Burgers, Hot Dogs, ice cream and other concessions available or you can bring your own picnic.

Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.

There will be merchandise from the performers and Music in the Park T-Shirts for sale and cash or cards are accepted.

The first show for the 2026 Chehalis Music in the Park series is set for Friday July 17 starting at 7pm.

We'll begin with our annual visit from our technical director Randy Linder who handles all the coordination of the sound/lights with each performer and the sound company. Randy will do a solo of his favorite Classic Rock hits.

This leads to our 1st headliner of the year....ZZ Nation the World's best ZZ Top tribute band! ZZ Nation out of California is touring all over the country this summer and we were fortunate to get them to stop in at our humble little concert series to deliver the best of this Iconic Southern Rock trio!

As we 100% confirm the other shows is when they will be announced we can say we are 97% of the way there with the full schedule.

Later today we'll put out another post on the regular details of this year's series with all 3 dates, times and more.
