It’s officially time to start counting down! Join us on Saturday, November 28th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for one of our favorite days of the year at ODAC, the 10th Annual Christmas Bazaar! 🎁

This FREE, indoor, family-friendly event will feature 185 vendor booths filling the ODAC arena and conference rooms with an incredible variety of Christmas gifts, handmade goods, local products, and small businesses. Whether you’re shopping for someone else or treating yourself, there will be something for just about everyone!

What can you expect?
Our vendors will be offering everything from Christmas décor, wreaths, candles , jewelry, clothing and boutique items to crocheted and quilted goods, woodworking, leatherwork, pottery, stained glass, paintings, custom ornaments, home décor, books, handmade soaps and body products, monogramming, sublimation and embroidered items, and so much more!

We’ll also have plenty of farm and agricultural products, along with a fantastic selection of food-related vendors offering baked goods, candy, chocolates, canned goods, seasonings, and other goodies that would make great gifts (or additions to your own holiday table!).

And there’s even more happening throughout the day! The Chatham Fire Department will be onsite accepting donations and holding their annual raffle, while Chatham FFA will be selling their Christmas trees and wreaths. A food truck will also be onsite for the entire event, so you can grab something to eat while you shop!

The 2026 vendor lineup is officially FULL and SOLD OUT! We are thrilled to have such a wonderful group of small businesses, makers, artists, farmers, and creators joining us for our 10th anniversary year.

For the past ten years, this event has become a beloved holiday tradition for our community, and we absolutely love seeing ODAC filled with shoppers, families, vendors, and friends getting together to kick off the Christmas season. We’re proud to provide a space where local small businesses and makers can share their products with our community, and we can’t wait to do it again!

📚 Tenant Tuesday Spotlight: Virginia Cooperative Extension - Pittsylvania County

For this week’s Tenant Tuesday, we are highlighting Virginia Cooperative Extension Pittsylvania County! VCE connects communities with research-based education and resources through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, 4-H Youth Development (Pittsylvania County 4-H, VA 4-H), Family and Consumer Sciences, and more.

For local farmers and landowners, Extension provides valuable support through services such as soil testing information, pest identification, livestock and crop education, pesticide safety training, forestry resources, and on-farm assistance.
Extension helps bring the latest research and knowledge directly to the people who need it most—making it an essential part of Virginia agriculture.

We are fortunate to have VCE as part of the ODAC community! You can visit their website by clicking here: https://pittsylvania.ext.vt.edu/

🥛 Sponsor Saturday Spotlight: Southland Dairy! 🐄

We’re proud to recognize for their continued support of the ODAC and their commitment to agricultural education.

Southland Dairy has supported ODAC through event sponsorships and advertising, and they regularly participate in youth-focused events at ODAC to help students learn more about the dairy industry and where their food comes from. They also partner with local schools and community organizations to promote agricultural education throughout our region.

We’re grateful for businesses like Southland Dairy that help us continue our mission of promoting and supporting regional agriculture while educating our community. Thank you for being a valued ODAC sponsor! 💙

🌽 Fun Fact Friday! Did you know that the average corn maze covers several acres and can take months to design?

Many Virginia farms transform cornfields into family-friendly attractions each fall, giving visitors a fun way to experience agriculture while supporting local farms. It's just one of the many ways agriculture and agritourism go hand in hand across the Commonwealth!

What a great couple of days at the SOVA Youth Career ChoICE Expo! We were proud to welcome thousands of students to ODAC as they explored different career paths, connected with local businesses and organizations, and learned about opportunities available right here in our region.

We’re always proud to be a part of events that help shape the future of our area’s youth and give students the opportunity to start thinking about where their interests and talents can take them.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a success! We’re grateful to play a small part in investing in the next generation. 🌱

At the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex, our mission goes far beyond being a place to hold an event. ODAC was created to promote and support regional agriculture while providing a community-based facility where people can learn, gather, and be entertained. Agriculture is a huge part of the history, economy, and identity of our region, and we believe it is important to help preserve that heritage while creating opportunities for its future.

A big part of that future is our youth. From career expos and educational programs to agricultural events and community activities, we want to give the next generation opportunities to learn where their food comes from, understand the importance of agriculture, explore careers in our region, and experience the traditions that have helped shape our communities.

We also believe in supporting the people and businesses that make our region what it is. A strong agricultural community means supporting local producers, businesses, families, and the continued preservation of the farmland and open spaces that make Southern Virginia special.

Every event held at ODAC is another opportunity to educate, connect, celebrate, and keep our regional heritage alive. Whether we're welcoming thousands of students, hosting an agricultural competition, providing a gathering place for our community, or simply giving families somewhere to come together, we're proud to play a small part in the bigger picture.

Our vision for ODAC is to continue being a place where agriculture, education, community, and tradition come together—while helping ensure those things remain an important part of our region for generations to come. 💚

Thank you to everyone who supports ODAC and helps us carry out this mission. We couldn't do it without our community!
