It's OFFICIAL! Chaska is now part of the parkrun community! Join us Saturday, September 18th at 9:00am for our first official Courthouse Lake parkrun!

A huge thank you to Trevor Luyt and Nate Damro for helping get this off the ground!

We have a local leader that is working hard to get this going. Stay tuned!!!!

Hi 'Let's Bring parkrun to Chaska, MN' community! I hope you have all stayed safe and sane over the last year+. We're excited to see the return of parkrun to about 10 US locations this week and another chunk next week. Hopefully we'll be back to nearly 50 in the US very soon.

Even better, we've restarted our discussions and search for people to help us get Chaska off the ground. We continue to have fabulous support from the City and Parks Dept ( !). There is some cautious optimism that we have a few people that may be able to take it on... but we need more. We need volunteers, run directors and still an event director. Many of these will come from the community that forms and runs or walks each week, but we need a few names we can count on in the early days for sure.

Hi all,
Been away awhile, but great to see 91 people have liked our little page.

parkrun is still on hold as we manage our way through, but it will be back as we all will and we’re really looking forward to bringing parkrun to Chaska!!!

Spread the word and keep an eye out. We’ll meet up again to organize when we can!

Hi everyone... while it is darn freezing out... we are heating up for another MN parkrun!!! Want to be a part of it or want to help with our final piece...? See below a note sent out from Missy and hope you can join us if you are interested!

Hello,

I am reaching out to you because you have expressed interest in helping start a Chaska parkrun and/or I think you’d be a great volunteer for this event! We have nearly all of the pieces in place to make Chaska part of the parkrun community (free, timed 5k run EVERY week) BUT we are still missing one piece – YOU (volunteers)!

We need a handful of people from the community to help get parkrun off the ground in Chaska. Join USA ambassador and Eagan parkrun founder, Nate Damro, and myself (CCC Park & Recreation Fitness Supervisor), on Saturday, April 4 at 9:00am at Caribou Coffee (1004 Gateway Dr. Chaska) to find that last piece to our puzzle!
