TempleFest welcomes Aidan Wachter as a Featured Presenter!

Aidan Wachter is an animist magician/witch-thing. They believe that magic is a natural part of the human experience and one that, when ignored, can lead to pathological states both in the individual and the societies they are part of.

Their focus is on working with allied spirit ecologies and what they call the Old Lines: the blood and spirit ancestors that sit well behind those ‘known’ to us and that run back to points long before the rise of homo sapiens. They are the author of “Six Ways: Approaches & Entries for Practical Magic,” “Weaving Fate: Hypersigils, Changing the Past, & Telling True Lies,” and “Changeling: A Book of Qualities.” “Spirit & Stone: Animism and the Old Lines” will be published in 2026.

TempleFest is Sept. 4-7 at Pringle Pond in Charlton, Massachusetts. This four-day retreat hosted by the Temple of Witchcraft focuses on community, ritual, and learning.

Irene Glasse will be our new Keynote Speaker at TempleFest 2026, replacing Byron Ballard. Those who attended in 2024 had the opportunity to thrice experience Irene's wisdom and magic, and so we are very pleased to have her back!

Irene is a Heathen witch based in Western Maryland. She is a longtime teacher of witchcraft, meditation, and magic in the mid-Atlantic. She is the co-author of "Blackfeather Mystery School: The Magpie Training" (Dragon Alchemy, 2022), a contributing writer of "Gemini Witch: Unlock the Magic of Your Sun Sign" and "Llewellyn's 2024 Sabbats Almanac" (Llewellyn Worldwide, 2023), and a blogger and columnist. Irene has performed, taught workshops, and led rituals at many festivals and conferences over the years. She is the main organizer of the Frederick Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (Frederick CUUPS), offering events, rituals, classes and workshops to a large, vibrant community.

TempleFest welcomes Keynote Speaker Christopher Penczak!

Christopher Penczak is a modern Witch working in the Temple of Witchcraft tradition and community he helped co-found. His practice focuses on the intersection of Love, Will, and Wisdom as an ethos for today’s Witch, and focuses upon relationships with the plant realm, the patterns of astrology, traditional occultism, and the use of trance in the Craft.

He is author of many books, including the award-winning Temple of Witchcraft series, "The Plant Spirit Familiar", and "The Mighty Dead", as well as the co-owner of Copper Cauldron Publishing.

Christopher keeps an office in New Hampshire and sees clients in-person and online for readings, healing, and personal consultations. His vision is of an evolving Witchcraft culture making magick accessible to all, yet preserving the heart of the mystery.

Team TempleFest would like to offer a huge thank you for all our presenter and vendor applicants this year!

In fact, there were so many excellent workshop proposals of all levels and types that we have added two additional session blocks to accommodate sixteen more sessions!

We've finally sorted through all applications. Presenters and vendors can expect to hear from us today if you haven't already. The full schedule should be updated on our website over the coming days, so keep checking back as more details are added.

It's been extremely difficult to make our selections this year with the many wonderful options. We wish we could accept every session offered, but we would have to triple the length of TempleFest and still have sessions left over.

Thank you to everyone that submitted sessions or vendor applications this year, the work of narrowing down the options was exhausting for our volunteers, but it's also highly rewarding work. This level of active interest in growing and tending occult community is beautiful to witness. If we weren't able to fit you in for 2026 we certainly hope you will apply again next year. Either way, we hope to see you at TempleFest!

Tickets for TempleFest are NOW AVAILABLE! This all-inclusive four-day event is Labor Day weekend Sept. 4-Sept. 7, 2026. We will be back at the beautiful Prindle Pond Conference Center in Charlton, Massachusetts.

Our keynote speakers this year are Byron Ballard and Christopher Penczak!

TempleFest offers classes, workshops, rituals, and social events to delight practitioners of every level. Though we focus primarily on intermediate and advanced material we have plenty of sessions for beginners in every block. We had such a wonderful response from presenter submissions that we added additional session blocks this year!

Registration is required; ticket options include lodging, camping, commuter and day passes, as well as Night Market-only passes.

We can't wait to see you and 3 to 5 of your best friends at TempleFest!
