What does your magic look like? ✨

🧙‍♀️🧹 Make Your Own Magic: Hats & Brooms is a hands-on workshop at The Looking Glass where you'll start with a black woven witch hat and a 4" cinnamon broom, then turn them into pieces that are all you.

You'll have plenty of time to dress them up with a mix of materials and embellishments. Got a few small treasures at home? Bring them along and work them into your design. Spooky, whimsical, glamorous, earthy, or a little bit of everything, there's no wrong way to make your magic.

We're celebrating the first ever Cville Tree Week with ReLeaf Cville! 🌳

Come help us unveil our Gratitude Tree Installation at The Looking Glass. The branches start bare, and it's up to you to fill them with notes and drawings of gratitude and your wishes for the future. ✍️

The Rusty Iris is getting her own movie premiere 🔥

You've seen the Rusty Iris art car at IX. You've seen her at the Tom Tom Festival. Now find out how she came to be, and how she beat every obstacle to make it to Burning Man and back.

🎬 The night kicks off with a live fire show, then the documentary screening, then a dance party with the Rusty Crew. Every ticket helps raise funds for Rusty's future.

The critically acclaimed Drunk Black History is coming to The Looking Glass! 🍻

Comedian Brandon Collins (New York Comedy Festival) hosts a lineup of comedians, writers, and experts who get hilariously tipsy while recounting overlooked figures and moments in Black history. 😂 It's the Daily Show meets Drunk History with a live audience.

🎤 Joining Brandon on stage: Chris Alan (Don't Tell Comedy), Lisa Woolfork (Black Women Stitch), Sarad Davenport (Sarad Speaks), and Andrea Douglas (Executive Director at Jefferson School African American Heritage Center). ✨

Fantasy Festival turns IX Art Park into another world. Roaming characters, live performances, magical vendors, and art you can wander right into. Let the kids loose in their best costumes and wear one yourself.
