Im slacking on Facebook :) Round Two of the First Series of Folk It Up Fest at Tommy’s Pub went full throttle. Mugs clashed, voices cracked, and Carolina sound hit like lightning. Y’all stomped, hollered, and drank like the moon was ours. 🌙🔥🍻

Huge love to Tommy's Pub for giving us the perfect home for this round. Gritty, warm, and buzzing from the first note to the last. 🙌💙

Shoutout to Jamie for keeping the best damn pub in Charlotte alive and thriving. Tommy’s is a heartbeat, and you can feel it the second you step inside. Huge thanks to Kat for holding down the bar all night with nonstop energy, kindness, and grit, keeping everyone fueled and the room buzzing. And massive love to Jonathan for pouring straight-up passion into every band’s mix. You made every set thunder, shimmer, and come alive. Absolute wizardry.

Straight outta the algae-choked wastelands of Cape Fear / Blue Swamp, Petty Disaster is bringing their signature backwoods trash folk punk fusion to Folk It Up Fest this September 6th at Pine State Coffee — and they’re not here to behave.

Featuring members of the legendary Madd Hatters, this two-headed beast is known for chaotic covers, unfiltered energy, and a genre-mutating sound that stirs up a filthy blend of banjo, guitar, and unholy vocals — more backwoods exorcism than folk set.
