Our Story
The Southeast & East Coast's Premier Grassroots Reggae/Rock Festival featuring 3 Days of Music, Camping, Disc Golf, Food and Merchandise Vendors, Craft Beer, Kids Zone & more! http://www.sbtsfestival.com
Surrounded by the Sound is the East Coast’s Premiere Grassroots Festival, showcasing the best up and coming talent on this side of the USA with a focus on the Reggae/Rock Scene. At SBTS we pride ourselves on offering attendees a sense of community and belonging to “the family we have found.” Every Labor Day weekend, we offer a peaceful getaway to the upstate of South Carolina where music lovers can escape the hustle and bustle of their daily lives and reconnect with themselves and other like minded individuals. SBTS is inspired by and named after the song “Young One,” a collaboration between Sun-Dried Vibes (SBTS Founders) and TreeHouse! The song lyrics advise listeners to “take heed of their bare necessities, friends and family” and that we are all one core group that is “surrounded by the sound.” If you’re looking for the perfect festival to help you connect with the music you love and the community of people that make it happen, then SBTS is for you. We hope you will join us for an unforgettable and life changing experience this Labor Day Weekend.
Our goal at Surrounded by the Sound Music Festival is simple: 1.) Display and Showcase the vast amount of talented bands and musicians in the Southeastern United States as well as on the East Coast. 2.) To cultivate and create a community of like minded individuals that spread a common theme of positivity and good vibes.
