Thank you so much to everyone who attended the show last Saturday 🥳 We had a fantastic time, and hope you enjoyed the first full launch of our Fun and Education displays. Big thanks to the sponsors and vendors who supported us - there were some truly great displays put on by all of you as well 🤩

Unfortunately, there was one thing missing - the attendance. Our attendance numbers for this show were too low (actually similar to the "smaller" Raleigh show last September) that we just cannot justify the expense of having the show in Charlotte again.

We made the show cost under $20 including parking, ($25 to $30 if you didn't want to use the park and ride) brought in big name sponsors with tons of giveaways, bigger raffle than this state has seen in years and still - no numbers of attendance to make all these vendors and sponsors happy! Sustainable Reef wasn't really pleased either - we had a lot invested 😢

We do have some great news though! We won't be quitting, we will just be moving. Sustainable Reef is going back home - to our favorite location! Look out for the date for 2027 at the NC State Fairgrounds 🥳

Edit: Those of you complaining there wasn't an effort made at advertising... please at least follow our pages Aquaporium and Sustainable Reef? As a nonprofit we are volunteer run, and the dozens of ads you see are made by a volunteer ❤️ Have a show that has more than just vendors means you have to pay for it without having table fees for the space - with or without attendance support 🤷‍♀️
