Wanna create one-of-a-kind portraits? Have you ever tried light painting? Light painting techniques are long exposures with a continuous light source used to put light in specific parts of your frame. Though there are many ways to light paint a portrait, some can be done with as little as a tripod and a flashlight. Come see some in action this Saturday for free! Ask questions and learn a style that will truly stand out in your portfolio! I’ll be covering multiple ways to light paint and will show you how to do it from set up to shoot wrap! Totally free, no RSVP necessary.

An important update from yesterdays post. The VAPA Center is following the directive from Mecklenburg County. This means that the parking lot, lobby, and other common areas are considered common spaces. VAPA’s front door will remain unlocked as long as there is someone working at the front desk, as always. However, La Luz Studios is considered private space and any agents MUST have a signed judicial warrant to enter. If inside La Luz Studios, do not answer the door, remain silent, and call me.

is private property and ICE and Border Patrol agents may not come onto the premises without a judicial warrant. The VAPA Center is also private property. VAPA will have their front doors locked until further notice and visitors to LA Luz Studios must be let in the front doors locked until by myself or a badge holding studio member. We apologize for the inconvenience but we are aiming to keep all of our clients, members, and community safe during these unprecedented times.
