Church folks ask me if gospel belongs in the club.

My answer: the need doesn't change when the lights go down. I Need Thee ft. Blake B & Nyoni Rae was written as a hymn of dependence. On a dance floor it becomes a prayer you can move to, and some people hear it there first.

The message doesn't get smaller in a new room. It gets closer.

When the week storms, the floor can still be shelter.

A Shelter In The Time of Storm ft. Ubuhle is rest you can feel, not just hear. Ubuhle's voice is the steady place in the middle of it.

Send this to someone who's weathering something right now.

The whole family on one song.

Hallelujah ft. Blake B, Eculayo Soul, Nyoni Rae & Ubuhle is the only track on Genesis with all four voices. After a week of meeting them one by one, this is where they meet each other.

Four voices. One word. The floor answers back.

Meet the voices of Genesis: Eculayo Soul.

Eculayo Soul is on Nothing But The Blood, Hallelujah and Amazing Grace. Give that man an old hymn and he'll find the soul in every line.

Nothing But The Blood comes from Robert Lowry's 1876 hymn. Same message, new heartbeat, with Amapiano bounce underneath.
