One of the major facets of FabFest is the annual Beatles Art Contest that includes youth and adult artists. Last year we had nearly 80 pieces of art.

Listen to youth artist Aarav Mehra speak on his experience in last year’ when he won 2nd place in the 12 & under division and sold both of his pieces!

📣Calling all young artists! Share your creativity inspired by the music and era of the Beatles! With just a couple weeks left of the school year, here’s early notice to students and teachers to get started on artwork for Beatles Art Contest taking place Oct 3, 2026.

🎨🎶 is open to professional, amateur, student and youth artists — all ages and experience levels. Artists can choose to enter the contest, or only exhibit your art. Option to sell your art either way! Separate cash prize categories for ages 13-17 and 12 and younger artists — and Youth Best in Show Award is $200!

🗓️While adult art is due Sep 16, youth artists have an extra week — due Sep 25 — to help students and teachers coordinate student entries and art collections for after school starts this fall.

🏆🏆 Two John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship winners, one Tosco Music Party!

🎶 The John Lennon Award is a national competition for original songwriting. Three winners are awarded each year with scholarships totaling $20,000. Sarah Tollerson and Adrian Gordon—both past recipients—met for the first time backstage at April’s and shared the moment with the audience .

💥This is a great example of how Tosco Music brings together local and regional talent to connect and inspire one another, and bridge generations and cultures.
