Today is the start of Men's Health Month. So we're highlighting our tournament's mission to raise awareness about prostate cancer.

Each year at our Captain's Party we feature a speaker with a direct connection to the disease. Each year, these stories highlight one consistent thing. Early detection saves lives. So know your risk factors and begin screening in consolation with your doctor. If you're 40 or above with certain factors its time to have that talk.

You can find more information at Zerocancer.org

Join us at our captain's party on June 11th and sign up to compete in The Lowcountry Open on June 13th with weigh in

June is Men's Health Month. One of the important reasons we hold The Lowcountry Open each year in June is to help raise awareness about prostate Cancer. 1 in 8 men will face the disease in their lifetime, with veterans and black men more likely to be diagnosed. Men with a family history of prostate cancer or cancer in their family should also be more aware and consider starting testing earlier.

Our tournament supports ZERO Prostate Cancer . You can find more info about risk factors on their website Zerocancer.org. If you or someone you know could use educational resources or support through a diagnosis, ZERO is an excellent place to start.
