Check out this exciting opportunity to join or branch out in the coffee industry! You may remember our friends from The Spot on Main Café and Coffee Roasters from our very first festival. To know them is to love them, don't miss out on this! 😊

The Spot on Main is a local small-batch coffee roaster, retailer, and wholesaler. We serve our coffee brewed and in hand-crafted espresso-based drinks. Fresh pastries, pies, cookies, and other desserts are baked in-house daily. Grab a fresh salad, soup, or sandwich all day long. Order online for pic...

Huge thanks to all of our incredible sponsors for the 2026 WV Coffee Festival! We are already looking ahead to the 2027 Festival on April 17th.

The 2026 West Virginia Coffee Festival was a resounding success, and we are still feeling the energy from the mountain of people who showed up.

The turnout was far beyond what anyone anticipated, proving that the hunger for real, locally roasted coffee in these hills is stronger than ever.

Moving the festival to the Civic Center was the right call. The extra space gave us the room we needed to grow and let everyone get a fair shake at the best brews in the state.

It was an incredible day of meeting new faces and catching up with the community that keeps us moving. Whether you were there for the caffeine or just to see the crew, we were glad to have you.

If you missed out or are already looking for the next haul, the plans for next year are already in motion. Mark your calendars for April 17, 2027. We will be back and ready with the best coffee the mountain has to offer.

Thank you for making this year one for the books. See you next time.

With Mother’s Day just a few days away, remember that moms love coffee, especially when it's locally roasted!

There is nothing quite like a fresh bag of beans and some local treats to show her some appreciation. Skip the big chains and head over to your local roaster to shop for her today.

To help everyone find the perfect gift, tag a local roaster in the comments so others know exactly where to go for the good stuff. Let's keep the support for West Virginia coffee roasting going strong.

Also, a huge thank you to every single person who joined us for the 2026 WV Coffee Festival. It was a weekend for the books, and we are still feeling the buzz from such an incredible community turnout.

Mark your calendars for the next one on April 17, 2027!

For the love of (really) good coffee.
By Steven Keith WV Food Guy

Looks like many of you perk up over good coffee just as much as I do!

Nearly 1,700 people attended the second annual West Virginia Coffee Festival at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center this past Saturday, leading to big crowds and long lines to sample a variety of blends from 15 state and regional coffee roasters.

“We were pumped with the growth we had and have already opted to increase our space for next year,” organizer Alexander Durand from Mountain Table told me after the event.

When the doors opened, I made a beeline to Cherry River Coffee Roasters from Lansing, makers of my favorite discontinued (but soon-to-be-resurrected!) “Hello Darkness, My Old Blend” roast. In the meantime, I enjoyed their signature “Bigfoot Blend,” balancing earthy Peru Cajamarca beans with smooth Colombia Excelso in a hearty sip with notes of chocolate, maple and wood.

Two other standouts for me were “The 1787” pistachio-infused cold brew from Sibling Coffee Roasters in Charles Town and a luxurious, silky oat milk latte from Aubade Coffee in Princeton.

Next year’s festival has already been announced for April 17, 2027.
