A race we'll never forget 🏃‍♂️🔥

We cannot stop thinking about how incredible the inaugural UC Marathon turned out. A total of 785 runners traveled to Charleston from across the country, and we are still blown away by the support.

None of this would have been possible without the partnership of the City of Charleston, WV, Charleston WV CVB, United Bank, Vandalia Health CAMC, WOWK 13 NEWS, Robert's Running and Walking Shop, Spilman Thomas & Battle, and many others who believed in this vision from the very beginning.

Thank you for helping turn this dream into a reality. We cannot wait to see you back at the starting line in 2027!

"It's been 2 years since my 1st & 2nd marathons, 3rd time is the charm. Getting to spend the miles with this amazing running community is what gets me excited! The inspiration of so many people coming together to be active striving for the common goal of finishing 26.2 miles. The struggle is real, but when you see others striving for the same end goal it helps get you there! Besides it means all your efforts and hard work have paid off and the feeling is like no other! Wobbly legs and all! I am Really excited to race with my gang and meet new friends along the way!"💪
