We will be postponing the January 10th Middleton Schooling Show to May 2nd. With the recent fluctuations in weather and temperature, one of our horses picked up a bug, and — out of an abundance of caution and care for all of our horses and yours — we have made the decision to move the show.

All existing entries will be refunded in full. Thank you for your understanding — we look forward to seeing everyone in March and May!

Middleton Place Equestrian Center Schooling Show Series is now proudly recognized by The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP) and the Southern Dressage Alliance (SDA).

*The Southern Dressage Alliance (SDA) is dedicated to promoting and supporting dressage throughout the Southeast. Riders competing at Middleton Place Equestrian Center SDA-recognized shows will be eligible to earn SDA year-end awards. Please visit their website to become a member.

*For purposes of eligibility for all TIP classes and awards, a Thoroughbred is defined as any horse that has been registered with The Jockey Club (TJC). Riders and owners must apply for a TIP Number online prior to competition.

We are excited to offer expanded recognition and award opportunities for both dressage riders and Thoroughbred competitors throughout the 2026 season!

A few notes about Seignious & Smith’s Costume Contest at Saturday’s Dressage Show:

-Sign up with Amber at the show secretary table and make sure to get your photo taken for judging.
-We’ll have Junior and Senior awards if there are more than 8 entries!
-You can wear your costume while competing or just to be judged for the costume contest.

We can’t wait to see your costumes!
