7 years ago we decided to start an event.

We had no idea it would grow to see more than 5,000 people travel to Charleston, SC to celebrate health and fitness through competition.

For my family, every year we look forward to organizing Fittest of the Coast - a competition centered around creating memorable experiences.

We could talk for days on how much joy this event has brought my family. The memories we’ve made we will treasure forever. There is nothing like getting to work side by side with your family and best friends.

We’ve met so many friends and developed relationships because of FOTC.

We joke often that we decided to have a hobby that was more work than leisure, but we wouldn’t change it for the world.

I’ve learned so much and enjoyed the opportunity to take every ounce of creativity God blessed me with to create a memorable weekend for so many who are as passionate as I about working out, sweating and seeing your heart rate elevate.

We don’t know what the future holds, but we do know that we will continue to trust God and give our very best. Where that leads us, we have no idea.

See you this fall for the Coastal Qualifier.
