The Charleston Wizarding Weekend is a free to attend event for all ages. We organize STEM and Art classes for kids, live music, fun activities for all ages, and affordable vendor opportunities for 30+ West Virginia artisans.

Our tiers are intentionally low because we love working with small local businesses but we welcome anyone interested in supporting the events to reach out.

The Room of Reflection✨️

Did you know that Vandalia School of the Arcane Arts does not use a sorting hat to decide which house a student will go into?

While we love a good talking cap, Vandalia has The Room of Reflection. Within this room filled with trinkets, and books, magical items, and artifacts, a first year student picks out one item that speaks to them and they present this item to the Headmaster.

Are the artifacts charmed to pick out a Puddledwarf? Are you judged on the way you pick? Did item belong to one of the founders?

Your guess is as good as ours! How the Room of Reflection truly works is a great secret passed down from Headmaster to Headmaster.

Sunday, October 26th at 5 PM
Bring your board, your witch hat, your paddle, your robe, and your life jacket, and join the paddle boarders on their magical adventure.

The adventure will begin and end at the Frontier/MacCorckle Avenue boat dock in Kanawha City. This run will be about an hour.
