Now for the original Reggae Doctor, the Founder of the Charlemont Reggae Festival Mr. Abdul Baki and his band Root Fiyah! Their music is inspired by the rocksteady period in Jamaican music and is a blend of originals and versions. The foundation of our music is nyabinghi drumming and expresses thanks and praises to the Most High Jah Rastafari. Baki will also lead in an opening prayer with Nyabinghi drumming and chants. Yes Charlemont Reggae Festival is proud to have this very talented artist spice things up with his band! ❤️💛💚 RAS Moon, born Rui Antonio Santos, is an internationally known reggae artist from the Cape Verde Islands. Blending reggae with Cape Verdean and African influences, he aims to uplift, inspire, and raise awareness through his music. Ras Moon performed across Europe, Africa, and the U.S., and has been part of five albums—two with The Black Rebels and others as a solo artist.

Get ready conscious Reggae lovers International for this year’s representative of the beloved Virgin Islands Saint Criox’s Ras Iba will be blessing the stage ❤️💛💚 (pronounced: 'Eye-bah') was born Charles "Chucky" Encarnacion on May 7, 1970 on the island of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. As the son of a musician, Iba was indoctrinated into music at a very young age and his passion for knowledge led him to embrace the teachings of Rastafari in his formative years. Over time and thru much diligence, Iba became lead singer of St. Croix's Front Line Reggae Band and quickly became one of St. Croix's celebrated singers.
