📣 Interested in helping shape the future of the Lucas County Fair?

The Lucas County Fair Board will meet tonight at 7 PM, and we are currently looking for new board members who want to play an active role in making sure our fair continues to thrive and grow exponentially! 🎡

The Fair Board is responsible for all activities held on the fairgrounds, including fundraising, planning entertainment during the fair, managing donations, organizing events, and so much more. It takes a dedicated group of people working behind the scenes to keep the fair moving forward year after year.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved but aren’t sure what being on the board entails, come join us tonight and get a feel for how the board operates! There’s no obligation—you can simply come, listen, ask questions, and learn more.

As the State Fair winds down, we’re reminded of one more unfortunate reality… summer is coming to an end! 🥲

But that also means it’s time to start thinking about next year’s Lucas County Fair!

Lucas County holds an After Fair Review, or Fair in Review, meeting each year, and this year’s meeting will be held Monday, August 31, at 6 PM at the Lucas County Extension Office.

We would love to invite anyone in our community who has ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the fair to join us!

We’re always looking for ways to:
🎡 Grow our fair
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Increase attendance
🎶 Bring in more entertainment
✨ Add new and exciting activities
💡 Make the fair something our community truly wants and enjoys

We need ideas from the community, and we need your input to know what people really want to see at the Lucas County Fair.

We’re not asking for any additional time commitment—just come to the meeting, share your ideas, and help us brainstorm ways to make our fair even better!

Thank you so much for hosting the annual Watermelon feed again this year!!! We really appreciate you all! 😊

🍉 On Monday, Homestead took a trip to the Lucas County Fair for their annual Watermelon Feed! ❤️

We always love getting the opportunity to participate in community events and spend time with our neighbors. The ice-cold watermelon was the perfect treat on a hot summer day—it was definitely a day that called for all the cooling off we could get! ☀️🍉
