Heritage Hall & Marketplace an old-fashioned meeting house in
Chappell Hill, TX

03/25/2026

I have had thoughts about piggybacking on the Bluebonnet Festival's draw for several years now as I am located just south of US290 opposite downtown. I have sat on my back porch and watched the streams of traffic lined up at the "one official Chappell Hill exit" to turn north into downtown and thought "what if I could detour some of those cars sitting in traffic another way" - one that passes by my place and provides an alternate access to downtown. This "bypass" I am speaking of is FM 1371, which runs parallel to US290, just one block south of the Chappell Hill intersection.

I am reaching out to you because I have decided to give it a try. I'm dreaming of an old fashioned country flea market put on by local vendors and cottage industries here on my acre+ that can be seen from 1371 and US 290. By "old fashioned" I mean like back in the 70's before all the China imports flooded our shores. Back when there were good old American rust/junk dealers, nostalgic collectors, and homemade goods to shop and swap.

Are you interested in participating with me? I will have trailer/truck/tent spaces outside on the front acre lawn, and some small inside spaces for vendors who have mobility issues. Outside spots (24'L x 12'D) are $35 for the two days. Inside spots (8'D x 12"L) are $50 for the show. The show will be held on Friday & Saturday, April 10-11, 9- 4 both days, during the setup & 1st busy day of the Bluebonnet Festival.
A restroom and water are available for participating vendors.

I am confident that this can become something amazing that can be repeated in October also, during the October Music Fest to be held here in Chappell Hill. Note: 1st time vendors will have first dibs on future shows! Check your calendar right away and RSVP by APRIL 1ST. If there is a big enough response, say 10 vendors it will be a go. I will do the advertising and signage. Hope you'll consider it.

Getting close but still have a few FREE tent spaces if you are interested. You can set up Friday evening to be ready for Saturday morning. Please pass on the info and be sure to stop by.

Right now, we have a trailer of antique furniture, guy stuff - tools/equipment, lots of decorative and collectibles, jewelry, linens, 6-seater golfcart, interior door & steel exterior door with window.

Would love to see someone who sells baked goods, home grown produce, or eggs. How about plants, crafts, clothing? Call me with questions 972-333-1653 by Thursday evening please.
