We do not try to glorify any of these people or the events!! They are however part of our culture and history, a part that is very important for us to remember

and even learn from. True crime, gangsters, serial killers, spree killers, assassinations, public enemies, women's suffrage, the civil rights struggles, Native massacres, tragic events and just about anything not covered in the "history books". We do this by bringing together a great collection of authors, artists and numerous others who are intimately familiar with these events and their effects. Join us as we bring together like minded individuals and create a network of friends and connections to share our passion for the darker side history and pop culture.

I’ve said for many years that April is a very heavy month for Dark History.
For now though, I will post only this bit.
I have gotten to know survivor David Thibodeau; I was fortunate enough to have it work out that I got to meet and have lunch with survivor Kevin Jones and I have had the pleasure of messaging with survivor Heather Nicole Jones, she had to work the day we were free and met Kevin.
My thoughts today are with them and all of the loved ones they lost from February 28 through this day in 1993.

My thoughts are also with the everyone who lost someone on this day in 1995 in Oklahoma City. The bombing being a direct result of the Waco seige.

For me, today is reserved for David, Kevin, Heather and everyone who was affected by the events at Mt. Carmel Center and the Alfred P. Murrah building.
