Let‘er Buck!

We had an incredible weekend at the world-famous Pendleton Round-Up! Pendleton has one of the longest rodeo performances, spanning up to five hours of action-packed competition!

Pendleton is also home to the largest non-motorized parade. The Westward Ho! Parade celebrates early Western heritage, pioneers, and Native Americans from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. On Friday, we participated in this parade and our cart was driven by two miniature ponies - Burrito and Socks!

After the parade, we headed straight to the Queens luncheon and took lots of pictures with our sash sisters! Getting a picture and chatting with Miss Rodeo America was definitely a highlight of the weekend for both Gracie and I.

Summer is flying by, and there are only a few rodeo weekends left! I’ve had the best time on the road this past month visiting the Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo and the Clackamas County Fair & Canby Rodeo.

Deschutes has the best Fair! I loved helping with the grand entry, carrying flags for every performance, and catching up with my sash sisters. A huge thank you to Queen Gracie Tucker for the wonderful luncheon and your incredible hospitality all weekend!

Mid-week took me to the Canby Rodeo, and it was a blast! I spent my time carrying sponsor flags, tossing swag into the crowd, and watching their Queen Tryouts. Jordyn, you shined so bright both in and out of the arena—thank you for being so incredibly kind and welcoming! Congratulations to all the contestants, and a massive congrats to Shayli on being crowned the 2027 Canby Rodeo Queen!

Next up is Pendleton Round-Up!

At the start of our year we had a very special gift made for Gracie and myself! Our coordinator Abby had a surprise up her sleeve for our rodeo week!

Abby had the previous 2025 Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo Queen Paige Speakman make us matching tripping collars for our year! Paige recently started her own leatherwork business called The Painted Sorrel Leather Co!

These tripping collars are a staple stand-out piece we use at the rodeos! They are also a perfect keepsake for after our year is over to remind us of the once in a lifetime experience we had this past year together! Thank you Abby for our surprise! Thank you so much Paige for these beautiful handcrafted tripping collars!
