BloomDango is Chambersville Tree Farms’ annual celebration of blooming trees, blooming shrubs, screening plants and trees. Learn to add color to your yard or garden by seeing plants growing in our display garden, all appropriate for the North Texas area. Consider for purchase a large array of plants you can take home.

Our event is designed for the whole family to have a fun and enjoyable day in the country. Activities for the kids include petting the animals, flying a kite (hope for breezes), face painting and cookie decorating. The entire family will enjoy a hayride tour through our beautiful farm including the Circle of Trees. Adults will enjoy our short talks: “Trees, the basic anchors of your yard” by Dean Oswald and Amy Howard, the District Sales Director for Proven Winners plants, will talk about coloring your garden with colorful leaves and blooms. Learn about Monarch butterflies and when they are Texas visitors two times a year.

Delicious BBQ lunch will start at 11:30 to 1:30 for $10 or kids at $5. Caudalie Crest Winery will be selling their award wines by the glass or bottle and TexaKona coffee will be selling their blends from their Hawaiian farmed Kona beans. By the way, both are local Collin County family businesses. They are located in the Event Tent~find a table either in shade or soak up sun outside. Also, find the Kona Ice truck for a colorful cold snowcone.
