Check this out!! Big New from country rising star Spencer Hatcher! He is coming to Cedarburg, WI this December 12th for Soundcheck Sessions!

2026 Taste of Country RISER Spencer Hatcher has just released a new song titled "Keep the Sad People Happy," and it's just what the doctor ordered for fans of traditional country music.

Acclaimed songwriters Tony Martin, Mark Nesler and Tom Shapiro co-wrote the song, which finds the Virginia native leaning even harder into the twangy neo-traditional sound that has drawn praise from not only Taste of Country, but also Billboard, Country Swag, Good Country, Saving Country Music and more.

After years of playing with a family band, he signed a deal with QHMG/Stone Country Records, which released his debut EP, 'H***y Tonk Hideaway,' in October of 2025.

Since then, he's released several fan-favorite songs, including "When She Calls Me Cowboy" and "Hot Weather, Cold B**r."

Hatcher is a guest on the current episode of The Heartland Network’s 'Common Strings' alongside legendary Nashville producer Keith Stegall and fellow country traditionalist Mo Pitney.

Meet our 4th artist Mark Wills who will performing at Soundcheck Sessions on Dec. 12th in Cedarburg, WI!

It was “19(90) Somethin’” when Grand Ole Opry member Mark Wills went from singing at Atlanta’s infamous Buckboard to releasing his first of 19 Billboard-charting singles across seven albums. While climbing his musical ‘ladder,’ he has recorded Gold and Platinum albums and released some of the most enduring and recognizable Country Music hits of the last 25 Years.
“Wish You Were Here,” “Jacob’s Ladder” and “I Do (Cherish You)” cemented his country status in the late ’90s and at the ‘dawning of a new decade’ in the early ’00s. “Jacob’s Ladder” was released via Mercury Nashville in May 1996 as Wills’ debut single, and it became the singer’s first of eight Top 10 hits. His debut self-titled album followed “full of rambunctious good-time songs teeming with sly wit and bittersweet ballads — all in a baritone that throbs with emotion” per Entertainment Weekly. Released 20 years ago as part of Wills’ Greatest Hits collection, the feel-good track stretched the singer both musically and vocally. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart Top 5 hits “Places I’ve Never Been,” “I Do (Cherish You),” “Don’t Laugh at Me,” and No. 1 single “Wish You Were Here” hit the airwaves between 1997-1999. Fittingly, Wills’ early chart success earned him an Academy ofCountry Music Award for Top New Male Vocalist in 1998. One of his biggest hits to date is the RIAA Gold-certified “19 Somethin’” – a six-week No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
In 2022, Mark re-recorded and released his hit “Don’t Laugh at Me” with the acapella recording group, Home Free, featuring Mark’s daughter, Macey. In conjunction with this release, a new music video was filmed staring 21 Pineapples’ Nate Smith and JennaLee Wasserman earning the collaborators 3 Gold Telly Awards.
He also has taken more than a dozen trips to entertain U.S. troops in Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Korea, and Italy. Wills continues to hit the road with his high-energy show full of hits that were the soundtrack to so many people’s lives.

Meet our 3rd artist Drew Baldridge performing at Soundcheck Sessions on Dec. 12th in Cedarburg, WI

Drew Baldridge is a country singer-songwriter who has spent 15 years building his career in Nashville while staying rooted in the values of farm, faith, and family. After early momentum and then setbacks in the industry, he chose to bet on himself—self-funding music, rebuilding his fan base through hundreds of independent shows, and ultimately breaking through with his Platinum hit “She’s Somebody’s Daughter (Reimagined),” which helped establish him as a leading independent voice in modern country.

Now signed to BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, Baldridge is releasing his major-label debut FARM FAITH FAMILY, a project shaped by his upbringing in Southern Illinois and the lessons of his grandfather. Kaylee has built her career as a fully independent artist, amassing a global fanbase of over 3 million highly engaged followers via social media and accumulating over 120M streams. But she’s not just an online presence - this momentum has translated powerfully on the road. Get to know our first artist for Soundcheck Sessions, Country Rising Star Spencer Hatcher!

Stone Country Records’ Spencer Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. By the age of 11, Hatcher was already playing his five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band. In 2020, he formed his own country band, backed by younger brother Connor Hatcher, a bass prodigy and “blood harmony” supporting vocalist.

Dubbed the “String King” by his hometown newspaper and quickly developing a reputation
across Virginia and neighboring states as an exciting live performer, Hatcher self-booked and
played more than 150 shows a year in both 2023 and 2024, often setting venue attendance
records. Hatcher has built a strong fan base, including nearly one million social media followers. On TikTok alone, the rising star has amassed over 72 million organic views and 8.7 million likes.

This led to a high-profile partnership with PepsiCo, with Hatcher co-writing and performing a bluegrass jingle for a nationwide commercial for Mountain Dew Major Melon.
Hatcher’s debut EP, H***y Tonk Hideaway, features his steamy debut single, “When She Calls Me Cowboy,” which was a Top 10 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase) out-of-the-box.
