🎶✨ CEF GRANT IN ACTION! ✨🎶

This past spring, the Cedarburg Education Foundation proudly awarded $15,000 to support the Cedarburg School District Commissioned Choral Work!

This unique grant brings students from multiple schools together for an incredible collaborative experience—working with a composer to create an original choral piece written specifically for Cedarburg students. 🎼

From the creative process to the final performance, students will have the opportunity to experience music in an entirely new way and be part of something truly one-of-a-kind.

We can’t wait to hear the finished piece and celebrate our students at this very special concert! 🎤👏

This is CEF Grants in Action—creating experiences that go beyond the classroom.

First up: Our Technical Director, Joshua Hummel!

Joshua Hummel (Technical Director) is excited to be working with Old School Entertainment on Barefoot in the Park. Joshua has been involved in theater since middle school, with experience ranging from acting and front of house to backstage work and technical direction—eventually discovering that he is much more comfortable when the audience isn’t looking at him. A Mechanical Engineer by degree and Electro-Mechanical Engineer by profession, he enjoys applying years of engineering education to the important theatrical questions, such as “Will that hold?” and “How many actors does it take to break that?” Outside the theater, Joshua enjoys ultimate frisbee, swimming, computer games, and spending time with his wife Victoria, his boys Silas and Joseph, and three cats.

Summary: Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. After a six day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie's loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbor-in-the-attic Velasco, where everything that can go wrong does.

Runtime: ~2.5 hours. This play contains 3 acts and 2 brief intermissions.

Celebrating Class of 1976

This year, the Golden Bulldogs Reunion organizers are inviting the Cedarburg High School Class of 1976 to celebrate their 50th high school reunion and be inducted into the CHS Golden Bulldogs. A complimentary program will take place at the CPAC Saturday, September 12th, featuring class recognition, the awarding of membership pins, a group photo, and a souvenir booklet. Attendees can also explore a memorabilia display and take a tour of the High School.
